'22-24 ARCHIVE
In the Spring 2024, Jamie Weekley Blaney, a Minneapolis-based floral designer and film photographer, landed in my inbox with the hopes of transforming her growing side gig into a full-time freelance business. After a few gushing emails, we became fast friends and dove head first into our collaboration—create a full-scale brand identity that would reflect her artistry, celebrate her dual talents, and support her goals.

In the Spring 2024, Jamie Weekley Blaney, a Minneapolis-based floral designer and film photographer, landed in my inbox with the hopes of transforming her growing side gig into a full-time freelance business. After a few gushing emails, we became fast friends and dove head first into our collaboration—starting from scratch to create a full-scale brand identity that would reflect her artistry, celebrate her dual talents, and support her goals.
Like most of my clients, we began with an in-depth discovery process. This allowed us to understand Jamie’s business, her heart, and her long-term vision. As a floral designer and film photographer, Jamie offers two distinct services. Instead of separating them, we crafted a way to position her brand as unified through the art of celebration. Captured Blossoms is for nostalgic romanticizers and those who value making life’s moments—both big and small—special. Whether through bespoke floral design or heartfelt film photography, Jamie helps her clients celebrate life’s milestones.
With this clear foundation, we began developing a brand identity that reflected Jamie’s unique style and offerings. Over the course of several months, we crafted a cohesive logo suite, defined her visual direction, created on-set content, designed print collateral, and built a custom Squarespace website to tie everything together.
The final result was a timeless, elevated brand identity that not only captured Jamie’s creativity but also gave her the confidence to pursue her dream full-time. Looking back, I am so grateful for this collaboration and the opportunity to bring her vision to life.
